Turn Off Advanced Cyber Security On T-Mobile Home Internet

To disable Advanced Cyber Security on T-Mobile Home Internet, open the T-Life app (formerly T-Mobile Internet app), navigate to the Manage tab, select the Security icon, and toggle Advanced Cyber Security to OFF. You can also temporarily unblock specific sites for 1 hour within the same menu if only certain websites are being blocked.

Steps to Disable Advanced Cyber Security:
  1. Open the T-Life app on your phone or tablet.
  2. Go to the Manage tab.
  3. Select the Security tab (or click the gear icon/settings).
  4. Toggle the Advanced Cyber Security option to Off.
  5. If prompted, confirm the changes. The app will confirm that security is now disabled.

Alternative Actions:
  • Temporarily Unblock Sites: If you only need to access a specific blocked site, go to Cyber Security > Sites blocked and select "Unblock for 1 hour".
  • Web Guard: If you are trying to lift content restrictions, navigate to Family Controls in the app and set Web Guard to "No Filtering".

If you are having trouble with the app, you may need to log in to the web interface via the gateway's IP address (typically 192.168.12.1) to adjust network settings.
